THE HOW

Provide and bring access to the sport of soccer, at a premiere and first class level, to youth players of all backgrounds, bridging known deterrents of finances, language, culture, and geography.

Purpose teaching through a developmental model that encourages failure towards success, rewards ambitions, fosters service to others, and requires perseverance.

Cultivate and attract coaches who teach to inspire youth, coach to develop youth, and lead to serve youth.
 

 
ORIGINAL MISSION STATEMENT DRAFTED 1998 BY JUDGE GORDON MCALLISTER, WSA'S FIRST PRESIDENT
The mission of the West Side Alliance soccer club is to provide a competitive soccer experience to boys and girls who desire to compete at an elite level of soccer.
 
West Side Alliance will create a safe, first-class environment which allows kids to learn teamwork, responsibility, self-motivation and self-discipline while experiencing the joy of the game of soccer.

The experience will be available to players irrespective of financial hardships.  This will be done by keeping costs at a minimum, providing need based scholarships, keeping travel costs reasonable, and by having coaches, who because of their love of the game and desire to teach, will work without expectation of extravagant fees. 

Teams will be formed at a young age and coaches will remain committed to building and developing through both failure and success.
