Players become serious about soccer. Decisions start to be made about whether or not soccer is going to be a lifelong passion or a fun pastime. Players fully understand technical and tactical aspects of the game. From a player development standpoint performance and results matter, have consequences, and learning the game through that lens helps produce the best possible teammate, leader, and servant character. WSA's game model focuses on the production of a player who is a problem solver and decision maker, confident on the ball, and a servant leader.
Players are prepared to succeed at the college and potentially professional levels. Teams begin attending showcases, players participate in ID Centers, and next level opportunities become a part of the environment. At this stage the player development mantra of PERSON > PLAYER still reigns, and the Growth Mindset environment becomes more important to continue to drive the FAIL -> FORWARD mantra which WSA believes helps each player, and team, reach their full potential.
