ECNL COMPETITION RULES, EXHIBIT C (from ECNL Competition Rules)

• Texas Conference and Texas, North Texas, and STXCL Regional Leagues. All ECNL Clubs in the Texas Conference or in the Texas, North Texas, and STXCL Regional Leagues have a Designated Tryout Date of May 11 (second Monday in May).  This applies to all ECNL Registered Players in both the ECNL Club Competition and the ECNL Regional League.
  
  

• Frontier Conference (BOYS ONLY)

  • All ECNL Boys Clubs located in the state of Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas have a Designated Tryout Date of May 11. This applies to all ECNL Registered Players in both the ECNL and the ECNL Regional League. 

  • All ECNL Registered Players must adhere to the Designated Tryout Date listed for their current registered club. No ECNL Registered Player in either the ECNL or ECNL Regional League may participate in a tryout that falls before the Designated Tryout Date of their current club. 

• Frontier Regional League (GIRLS ONLY)

  • All ECNL Girls Clubs located in the state of Oklahoma have a Designated Tryout Date of May 11. This applies to all ECNL Registered Players in both the ECNL and the ECNL Regional League. 

  • All ECNL Registered Players must adhere to the Designated Tryout Date listed for their current registered club. No ECNL Registered Player in either the ECNL or ECNL Regional League may participate in a tryout that falls before the Designated Tryout Date of their current club. 

FROM ECNL LEAGUE SERVICES

In the event a club chooses to hold tryouts ahead of the designated tryout date, it is advised that the following language be utilized on all registration and promotional materials pertaining to tryouts:

"Current ECNL & ECNL RL players from outside of {Insert club name} are not permitted to attend."

US CLUB SOCCER, OPC & NPL RULES

May 1 👉 First day tryouts are permitted.
May 1 👉 First day players may register to a team for the 2026-2026 seasonal year. 
👉 Players may only register to ONE CLUB for the seasonal year.

YOUTH ACADEMY RULES
👉WSA will open registration in the Spring for players renew their registration to WSA Soccer.
👉Players may only register to one club.
