Recreational Soccer Program

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Youth Development Program (YDP) is WSA’s recreational soccer experience designed for players in the exploratory phase of their soccer journey. Whether your child is brand new to the game or prefers to play seasonally, YDP offers a flexible and welcoming environment to learn and enjoy soccer.

This program is primarily led by dedicated volunteer coaches—community members who are passionate about the game and committed to creating a positive experience for young players. For families seeking an enhanced training experience, there is also an option to request a paid, certified coach for an additional fee (typically around $50 per season).

YDP is an excellent fit for:

• Beginners learning the fundamentals
• Players exploring their interest before committing to a more competitive level
• Returning players who prefer a fun, low-pressure, part-time soccer experience

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Teams are formed through a random draw or by friend requests
• Teams may be coed or gender-specific
• All games are played in a 7v7 format
• Focus is on skill development, teamwork, and enjoyment of the game

YDP emphasizes fun, inclusion, and personal growth—helping every player build confidence while developing a love for soccer.

GAMES ARE WHERE: Case Community Parks 
TRAINING IS WHERE: Local Fields or WSA Assigned Facilities 
COST PER SEASON: Range from $50 to $85; Optional Professional Coaching for additional $50
