- WSA will become a participant of the N1 League in 2026-2027 via WSA membership in OPC.
- The National 1 League (N 1) will host high-performing boys and girls teams U13-U19.
- The league is a "merit-based" league, which aligns with WSA's "earn-it" value.
- Teams will be promoted from OPC "Gold" divisions.
- Teams in the N1 League will have to earn their way to "stay up" in the league seasonally.
- OPC will adapt a tiered stratification to add meaning and value to all OPC games (Copper, Bronze, Silver to Gold).
- The league is designed to limit travel in the regular season phase, and expand travel during the postseason and college showcase phase.
- The league model integrates and includes over 90% of the clubs' teams in the U.S. soccer landscape.
- The league's "inclusivity" also aligns with WSA's values.
- WSA will play in the N1 South Conference in District 1.
- N1 District 1 will be operated by the association of participants who have traditionally operated Red River & Frontier NPL & OPC.
- Expected travel will be between primary club destinations of NW Arkansas, Tulsa, OKC, and Dallas.
- In the initial year (2026-27) club's will self promote teams into the league.
- In subsequent year's the tier-1 of the league will be earned via previous year's performance in the league or in OPC Gold.
- The OPC member clubs "inclusive" approach will welcome promotion pathways from other clubs.
- Minimum standards will be required for a club to have teams considered to participate in the league.
- Teams must commit to playing 100% of ALL games in each regular season, without exception.
- The expected "per team" price will range from $450-$600 per team for the entry fee.
